Delhi girl critical after gangrape, four held

Today there is another rape attempt on a 3 year school girl. Principal was arrested.

I think the person is mentally sick to even think of doing such an act on a mere baby....Honestly, the more media coverage and outcry the bolder the criminals seem to get ...

The mentally sick are not capable of seeing either their own guilt or public outcry. Their destination is either metal hospital or jail.

Why should we pay taxes to feed these brute in hospitals or jails! They should be tortured to death, give a little taste of what they gave to other women and small children!

The law is the core reason due to which everything gets stuck at last! :evil: People have no fear at all.

This is horrible its shame that kids are not safe even in the schools. This is sick mentality and people like this should have no right to live in this world. :evil:

Yes I too feel so, people are very serious but politicians dont want to speak just make speeches,I dont see why they cannot come out with something substantial instead of using force...

They never come out unless the matter is related to votes. While it's election time they somehow take opportunities to address 100s of meetings every day, shouting at opposition on full throttle with their foot on gas paddle right up to the floor..

No I don't agree with this! There are more instances of law enforcement agencies doing their best to catch the culprits only to be allowed to walk away free because of either loopholes in the laws or because of intervention by powerful politicians! Do you know that in the recent past, more than 25 accused of equally heinous rape and sexual assaults have been pardoned by Pratibha Patil when the court had passed the sentence of death by hanging? Only one accused from Kolkata has actually been hanged!

No I don't agree with this! There are more instances of law enforcement agencies doing their best to catch the culprits only to be allowed to walk away free because of either loopholes in the laws or because of intervention by powerful politicians! I agree that the police are many times lured by bribe offered by the criminals including the rapists. But It is wrong to say that the President pardoned any. The President would have only commuted death sentence to life imprisonment. There are cases where ends of justice are met by life imprisonment. However there is need to change law on rape. This should be made more strict and harsh.
There is big protest all over India. More safeguards are needed for women's safety, particularly working women' and college going girls. Apart from change in law, there is greater need to change the mindset. Presently women are considered as more guilty and stigmatized even though they are victims whereas the offender is not affected.

Gender of the rapists must be changed. This can be the only solution to the problem. The tendency to rape and murder has become a common scenario in India since last 10 years. Many victims die without justice. Many rapists escape, etc.. God can stop this horrible incidents.

One way I feel that is, teach children the good and bad aspects of life. Male child must be taught to respect females, even the college goers must respect ladies.

Some politicians could be guilty of rape offence. But we cannot generalize like this. Is there any section of society which has no so such elements. Sweeping statements like this may suit the sites like Facebook. We need be more composed and serious in our discussion.

The position allover the country is in bad condition. I had to go to Gurgaon for my my final test but they have closed main metro stations on rout therefore I could not attend my tests. I am not sure why are they not coming forward to pacify public, what is keeping them from assuring them speedy justice!

Constable Subash Tomar has died after being very seriously injured while trying to stop the mob - apparently some anti social elements got in with the peaceful protesters and started pelting stones at the police and they had to control the crowd...It is really sad about the constables death, since he was acting under te orders from higher ups who sit in the comfort of their office or in a protected vehicle...

We pay homage to the constable who died on duty. The unruly senseless violence needs condemnation by all right thinking people.

This is sad , who is going to support the constable's family now!? The hooligans who entered the crowd of genuine people who were there for a cause deteriorated the cause of protests greatly.

The lastest news about the girl , she is effected by the infection itseems and may she leave this world soon.

The family of constable has to suffer now.. So many people suffering but the offenders are roaming peacefully in the city. The girl is also critical. I think the culprits should be hit by stone and tortured in such as way that they as well as people with such criminal thoughts will never try to think about it again.
