This is the first time I heard about coffin. Now I got the answer.

Coffin is the wooden bo that is used for last journey by Christian and Muslims. Also the Hindus use it in form om Bamboo bed to take their dead departed relatives to the cremation grounds.

@Mathi and all other members, I am sure that all know a forum is supposed to be a discussion kind of thing and not just asking questions for the sake of plain answers.
