    Government libraries are the gift of every human being. We can utilize it fully.


    Are there any left now? I see the ones in my town in a pathetic state, with broken down furniture,torn books and an uncared for look that is really sad. Even the staff is either not there or totally disinterested.

    Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

    Yes. All libraries are functioning only in Tamil Nadu. I borrowed many book and read. :whistle: :whistle: :whistle:

    You are right, in the era of e-books people hardly visit libraries anymore. I remember visiting my local book library when I was a kid. I used to enjoy the calm and peace in the library. Looks like the good old days won't ever come back again. These days people download their favorite books through torrents and other file sharing sites in the form of e-books.

    that's right the craze for going to the libraries has reduced in people with the advent of internet now people don't go to library so often as they used to in the past. :evil:

    But I still like to read newspaper I don't read news on net. I don't why but to read newspaper in the morning with cup of tea is what I like most. :)

    No I don't as I don't have libraries nearby my house. I used to go to them when I was in college after that I never visited any library. :blink:

    Moreover these days number of libraries have reduced as they don't find visitors and go in loss. :evil:
