    Tendulkar name has been recommended for Bharat Ratna award by Prime Ministers office...

    But the recommendation got cancelled. they are not interested to offer the award to Tendulkar.

    There is no award for Sunil Tendulkar in the awards announced. Apparently, too much campaigning misfires.

    He is worth not just one but a few "Bharat Ratnas" as he is a true 'Ratna' this country has produced!!

    I think the expression like these misleads the jury, even if he may be a right person to get it.

    The award is considered after considering many aspects. The award is not only for sports but other fields also. Then Cricket is not the only sports in spite of its popularity. This is not included in Olympics. Although it is desirable that Sachin Tendulkar be honored with Bharat ratna, we cannot question the bonafides of the jury.

    Doubts would always be there whether merit alone influenced in the slection of some awardees!!!

    If there is decission to give it to some one and at that time a wish like this comes from another person, there may be a rethinking between the jury.
