If children should take their own decisions then what will be the role of the parents? I think they would only decide things that is good for them and they enjoy doing without thinking the results of those decisions. I think it would be a nice idea to involve the children in their decision under the guidance of their parents....

always parents are not right in taking decision. Depending on the children views parents must take any decision. Some cases no all cases both views should be brought together and take out the best decision which both will be happy in execution

Yes, they should be allowed to take decisions but under proper guidance and the parents should keep an eye if they make any mistake.It helps in making them self dependent.
