Can President Rule Be Applied to Disturbed States In India?

When the disturbance exceeds the limits , presidential rule will be imposed.

Yes, it must be if the state govt fails to ride the turbulence since it is in the public interest and any unfavorable misshappening can be averted.

Personally I don't think the situation is as such that applying president rule is the only option left for us rather in future it might be a good option when things go beyond control....

Any state can be brought under President rule if it is not possible to run the state administration in accordance with constitution. There is no specific provision for disturbed state. It is responsibility of state government to maintain law and order. If state government requests, central forces and army may be depolyed in the area. President rule is not necessary for solving problem of disturbed area.
