Is Mr.Obama the right candidate for the Nobel Peace prize?

What is actually the criteria for awarding Noble Peace Prize and is there still any cedibility left for it. Why we should blindly recognise and respect the awards and rewards announced by the Europeans.

I don't think Mr. Obama is qualified for this at the present juncture.

Mahatma Gandhi, inspite of getting nominated for Noble Peace Prize in 1937, 1938, 1939, 1947 and before his death in 1948, did not get the prize because he stood firmly behind the truth and did not compromised on his principles for the sake of awards and rewards.
Europeans, particularly the British people, had their strong influence on it.

Mr Obama has served a ery sort period as Presidnt of U.S.A. He has done nothing to qualify for Nobel Prize. Hnce. he is definitely not right candidate at te moment.

I have read an article and I was shocked to hear the news that even Adolf Hitler was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize,and people will really lose the credibility of Nobel Committee.

If not a right person they would not have selected him.Then why we people discuss it?Will they cancel the prize?
