I don't think there are negatives in arrange marriage nor their any in Love marriage.
It all depends on person. How he can handle a relationship..

Everything which happens in this world have both negaitve points and postive points. So Arranged Marriage also have +ive points. But according to the young generation they dont belive in old rules. They want to know their partners, understand them, which we can't in arranged marrige. Normaly what happens in arranged marrige, parents Told their daughter or son , pls this girl or body is good this is good for u. this is also from our cast. For them only matters cast and respect not the happiness and thinking of child.. these are the negaitve points.. But in luv marrige we can understand our partner.. feel his/her nature..

Is there no understanding in arranged marriages? then, how come our parents or people of older generations are celebrating silver jubilee anniversaries of their married lives.
It's the attitude the younger generations has set and the egos that are created after people getting more and more educated.

The marriage is between a boy and girl. The most appropriate and natural way is that the prospective couple should make own choice. When you have a choice even in buying furniture there is no reason why others' choice be thrust upon you. Arrange marriage considers matters like caste, family status, astrologival predictions etc that are much less relevant than prospective couple's choice.

I don't think today's parents are forcing their children to get married with the boy/girl of their choice. they are still giving a chance to select. but the thing is they just give a deck of cards and the younger generation wants more..

I don't think there is negative points in arranged marriage. Those who argues sees that the boy and girl sees for first time and will be very difficult to adjust.But all those are just predictions.
