Every year Janmashtami is celebrated in a grand manner in Uttar Pradesh which is the birth state of Lord Krishna.Majority of the people who are involved in making these decorated flutes are Muslims.
These kind of news creates positive attitude of the unity of Hindus and Muslims.

That is really a great example for brotherhood and another example i observed is: during "Ganesh nimarjan" the crowd that accomadate god include muslims too in Hyderbad they participate equally... :)
As you know Durga Puja happens to be biggest of all festivals in West Bengal and the participation of Muslims in every aspect of it is complete, spontaneous and indispensable.

It's most unfortunate that good work of the silent majority of all communities do not get a good press but the press is always after news involving the mischief of a handful!!

This is commerce and has nothing to do with religion. The Muslims may be making flutes for their livelihood and not for devotion to Lord Krishna. We also import Ganesh and laxmi idols from china. Obviously, Chines have nothing to do with Diwali, Ganesha and Laxmi. They export only for commercial purpose.
The Jains believe in non violence. But as businessmen, they also sell processed meat. Let us not mix religion with commerce.

Yes ,it is true that some of Muslim families are engaged in this occupation for generations driven by commercial interests but during the Puja days I find them hopping pandals and participating in the celebrations with a free spirit. No inhibition of any kind!
