The game encouraged players to collect points by putting a target over mosques and minarets emerging from the countryside and clicking a 'Stop' sign. The players also had the chance to eliminate a bearded muezzin calling Muslims to prayer.

No idea about this game! Nagalakshmi can you ellaborate in detail?
It is like anyother online game called by name "Bye Bye Mosque".The game was designed by a Swiss public relations firm that has also created anti-Muslim and anti-immigration campaigns for the rightist Swiss People's Party.

As,there was a great opposition for this game by austrian muslim leaders the catholic church and several other political parties Austria banned the online game.
even i have no idea about it.............thanks for sharing information lakshmi......

Good initiative by the aussies.. it was indeed hurting the muslim feelings..
No one should allowed to play with sentiments and sensitivies of the mmebers of any religion.
It is the birth right of every human to follow any religion which they have belief on.People should learn to respect the beliefs of other religions too.
These kind of mindless games create unnecessary and uncalled for tension in a volatile situation we are living in.
I didnt understand the motive of developer in intoducing such game which is neither entertaining nor gained any popularity..it is good to be bans
The motive is clear enough. It's just to hurt the sentiments of a particular religious community.
