Openly exposing of anything should be banned. Because by exposing so much dust will fall on it.

What is your reason for it?
I think In India lot of person are vegetarian so openly selling meat may heart them or may disturb there mind. So I want views only.
I totally agree with you Santosh, it should be banned. If non veg food be cooked, it should cooked in kitchens but not in open.
Some butchers tie the animals on the roof of their shops in fron of the local public and then cut them brutely, this may not look good to everyone passing by, especially a non vegeterian. One should avoid it.
Those who do not like it may divert themselves. But openly doing this will invite health hazards I think.
The local bodies should ensure public hygiene and health. The sale of any eatables including fruits, various eatables- veg and non veg- in unhygienic conditions should not be allowed.
Considering religious sentiments, it is prudent to not sell meat openly! But more important issue here should be consideration of hygiene! Meat being extremely perishable commodity, it is unwise to store and sell it openly. This should be done in cold storages and also under extremely hygienic conditions, considering the facts that various new strains of flus is on the rise!
It must be banned . It is very difficult for the vegetarian passers to pass from these streets due to horrible scenes and stinky smells.. :( :(
I understand that local municipal bodies have designated officials to oversee the sale of meat in a hygienic manner but sadly they are most inactive and inefficient in performing their duties.
Aastha- even the non vegetarians dislike the sight of slaughtering of animals cruelly in open place. Hence, there must be proper administration of slaughter houses and cruelty be minimized. Hygienic and health considerations must be given heed by municipal authorities not only regarding meat but also for vegetarian items like sweets, milk etc.
The other day I was following a discussion on this on TV and a psychologist was, in fact, very emphatic in her warning that such ghastly sights do unrepairable damage on the tender minds of our children.
