It is absolutely correct.Simple criticising is possible to all.But he should also provide a way by offering helps.

Our parents take us to tasks,criticize but at times we fail to understand that it their overriding concern for our well-being which prompt them to do so! Thank you,Rajani!

Nobody likes criticism by some body who has nothing to offer. Empty criticism is of no use. If you wish to help somebody, you have genuine right to criticize him as well. Thus the observation is very apt.
