Here again I borrow the famous quotes of that great scientist which are extremely relevant in times we are passing through."A hundred times I remind myself that my inner and outer life depend on the labours of other men, living and dead, and that I must exert myself in order to give in the same measure as I have received." Great words, aren't they?

I think the quote of this famous scientist is worth considering in today's context. We all seek so many things from various agencies of society but in doing so,how many of us are conscious of our duties towards it?
They have been proved to be great people doing favour to the society... I do not think that in the present times, we rarely find a true citizen helping for the society!!

Thanks 'n' Regards,
Deepti.
I think it is all practical wisdom to which the sages, savants have drawn our attention to.Sadly we are too self-centred to be in a position to appreciate them!
If we live in society then we need to help other to make our society more better.............

That is only way to strengthen the societal bond, which in today's situation is all the more important.
In today's world people are thinking on doing service to their parents itself. Then where is the question of doing service to the society?

I think Society already charged us for maintenance and other charges so its automatically help sets.

I do not belong to rentier or interest earning class. Obviously, what I get is for my work. I also do not indulge in cheating or misleading anyone. Naturally, i cannot get more than what I give.

When we perform our duties towards our parents,it 's part of our family duties and our duties stretch far beyond our family even if these are not guided by nobler motives, for pragmatic reasons. For example donating blood is a cause of not only of society but our family too.I have seen how a person who never thought of donating blood, had to run from pillar to post for a few blood donor's card to save his father's life.
Man being a social animal will have to give back something that he earns from society. Then only the harmony in society will remain.
