Why current Indian politicians not comparable with our previous leader like Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Nehruji, Lalbahdur shstri ji etc?

Why politicians are not thinking on that way ? Why they are being corrupt?

The early leaders were drawn from freedom movement. Now the political leaders are professional and career seekers. We cannot expect them to be as sacrificing and principled as early leaders but expect them to be at least honest and sincere and not indulge in unlawful activities.

So think Gulshan if Firangi comes once again like previous than will India get Bhagat singh, Gandhiji and Nehru ji etc to get freedom for India.

The past leaders belonged to a different era and the value system too was different. We are living in decadent times and our leaders are the products of a decadent culture.
I think this time politicians came from different crime area so we are not able to get correct leader.

Our poltics have been invaded by the people of dubious chracters and deeds. We too have played our role by casting our votes for them!

Yes Santosh,I agree that money and muscle- these two things are two vital ingredients to win elections in India. We have to accept that!
I think this time politicians are money oriented not work and development oriented so all try to do corrupt India.

Unless people wake up and exercise the power as given in the Constitution in a postive manner, the corrupt leaders would continue to rule us.
Is there any way to remove corruption in politics. I think its unresolvable.
