in General Discussions
Two Corruptions of crores had recently in news in India.One by Ketan Mehta in Medical Field.The other by Lalit Modi in IPL.What do you think members ? Will they be punished?Or escaped through big holes of our law?

    Corruption is a way of life in India. The corrupt do not care as they generally escape punishment and even if they get some punishment, they are satisfied with the huge assets they have already built up and held in Benami names or in foreign banks. The punishment should be very strict and exemplary. In no case this should be less than life imprisonment and confiscation of all property.

    Life long imprisonment without mercy and adding of all the assets to national fund is one way to control this.

    Corruption is not a new thing in India. I think which field has got the highest corruption is the challenge amoung our people.I don't think we can stop this unless some dictatorship kind of rule will have to come and hang whoever the people involved in these kind of things.But the big question is when is that day going to come???

    A corruption free world is an Utopian dream and the central issue is the level of corrupt activities in a country.It is more than clear now that India simply can not afford to have this high level of cooruption without destroying itself.From J.L.Nehru to Dr Man Mohan Sing not a single prime minister has redeemed the pledge to fight this malaise with honest and sincerity which has acquired cancerous proportions.Going by the conduct of some of the doctors in different parts of the country you don't need any medical knowledge to diagnose them as terribly sick people!

    I think IPL is most professional tournament for cricket where cricketer are not able to have his own decision. So overall if I see only one world cup game than its best for us.

    I think corruption is every where not only in IPL. If politics involve in anything means corruption exists.
