I note with great sadness the propensity to use articles as vehicles to increase one's points by making same comments in relation to all the articles read by a member.This way you neither are appreciating a writer nor serving any cause of boddunan.Rather you are trivialising the whole thing.Just spare a thought for an honest writer and recognize his or her hard work in producing it.If you have no comments to make,just leave at that,please!

I got it what chinmoy wants to tell.i am one of guy who do the same thing.But, i read every article thats for sure.comments may be sometimes same .but,my intentions are good regarding every article.As I am bit lazy in typing.sorry for that.

My comments on this issue are not member-specific.I have made a general point highlighting the negative aspect of this practice.I have observed all these months if any member practises it then he is surely followed by another who even outsmarts him in this points-gathering race and this goes on and on.I am very sorry if my comments have hurt anyone.

As suggested in one of the discussion, the only solution lies in not giving points for the comments on article. This way, members would comment only if they feel the need for it.

When I entered this site I remember I had send PMs to moderator about comments in articles.Now Ceeem you raised it publicly.Congrats.

Ceem, thank you very much for reporting this. In fact you can report any comment so that it will be blocked automatically after 5 such reports.

Thanks all for responding positively to this issue which is obviously a serious one.Once again I express my regrets to do this unpleasant job but then someone has to do this in the interest of the site.

I have also noticed that many users ae just writing anything in polls, articles, forum etc with a view to gain points. This is not good for members as well as site. I hope all will give due attention to this aspect. By careful reading and writing, all will increase their own skill as well as help the site genuinely.
