Man's greed to extract more from the Nature, excessive use of polythene, lack of cleanliness, deforestation are directly or indirectly leading to abuse of Nature.

Yes sir. Besides over population excessive use of natural resources, the urgency for modernization and urbanization by humans leading to environmental pollution.
In major cities and towns motor vehicles make wide range of air pollution. Therefore people cannot breath fresh air and fall in diseases. Another reason for air pollution is over use of plastics. People cannot stop the use of plastic because they are very useful for many purposes. Normally, we use plastic bags to deposit waste. When we deposit too much of plastic things outside, it will negatively impact the natural environment. It is dangerous for animals, plants and humans because it is made from toxic compounds and causing to diseases. It is not biodegradable.
Exactly Plastic bags though convenient are not Bio degradable They block the drainage, In the recent Chennai floods, these plastic bags are one of the reasons for the flood havoc. Anyhow in every possible way humans are abusing the environment. Now every part of the world is on the brink of disastour.
For his easiness man has changed many natural things according to his needs. Whether it is the use of more and more polythene or smoke coming out of factories or vehicles is destructing our environment. We have made many holes inside the earth to pull out water or for other purposes has created space for the energy or heat inside the inner layers of earth to come out which also creating a dangerous situation for disasters to come.
It is worth noting Mahatma Gandhi's quote, " The world has enough for everyone's need. But not enough for everyone's Greed."
This quote says all. Man's greed to extract more from the nature is the cause for Environmental crisis. Now the abuse of nature has reached to such a condition, we, the humans reached a point of No return. We have to bear the fruits of disaster. There is no other way.

In history many civilizations ended and new started. Many advanced civilizations ended due to disasters or fight between men and are buried under earth. If today's man will not stop exploiting nature, then one day the nature will punish him.
We have to change our attitude towards nature. We should give deep respect and consideration for nature. People who respect nature and regard mankind as a part of a large whole would carefully evaluate any effects of nature. We should give high priority for the preservation of nature.
Of course, it goes without saying. Mother Nature should be respected for our own survival. But now it's too late. Infuriated Nature started showing its wrath in different forms like Cyclones, Tsunamis and Blizzards. It happened recently in the USA. And today in the Nellore district of AP, earth tremor took place. And be assured, such calamities will take place regularly
The natural disasters have already started occuring all over the world. We humans should be blamed for such disasters. Explosion of population and biased mindset of people have affected our nature. Even though many people are aware about the hazards of using polythene bags, deforestation, etc, people would still do it even after knowing the consequences. People don't want to change themselves, then why mother nature will take care of us.
Protecting the environment is the need of the hour. All of us should know , unless we respect the environment, our very existence is at stake. Man, in the name of development, is destroying the nature . While building the new townships, many trees are cut. This felling of trees should be compensated by Afforestation. Man should know what's taken from the Nature, should be given back.
Not only these problem nature facing, even the vibrations and waves from the refrigerators cellphones etc are damaging ozone layer which protect us from sun. Now our India is in summer season and full of heat. But due to ozone layer became thin, so the heat from sun directly effecting our country and these causing even many health problems to us.

Agree with you. these are man made resources that are affecting the nature. Researchers says that every year thickness of ozone layer has been reducing drastically.

As cities grow the density of the population becomes higher and so also the negative impact of such close living. Instead of this if several satellite cities are built around a major city there would be better distribution of population and less stress on nature and natural elements like air, water..
