The list is too long and it's quite difficult to keep a track of it. Every time going by the ingredients is very difficult but yes, we can definitely try to remember them as much as possible.

@rambabu One has gone through the provided link and that's why it has been stated that the list of unhealthy food is too long. It also becomes difficult to buy or eat food items each and every time by following the given chart.

Information is useful but paractically it is not possible to remember and check all these is foods. Best formula of healthy eating is always avoid pack food and eat fresh as much as possible.

Yes packaged food contains lot of toxins which are harmful for the health. But, there is no guarantee that the foods are fresh . Because artificial food ripening agents are used.                                      

 

Honestly going by the list you have to stop eating...Too much advise is being given now on what to eat ! If one eats more natural foods and cut down on saturated fats and packaged foods one can remain healthy like most of the people do..

Yes uses of ripening agent is serious problem. Fruits like mango Papaya, and banana which are riped with chemicals have not its natural test and flavor. We can't stop eating these completly, but by eating local foods and vegetable we can save our health.

I enjoyed reading this list of unhealthy food. Most of the items mentioned here are not natural, they are chemicals like aspartame, yeast, etc.. Any kind of chemicals are harmful to our body. Most of the time, these chemical or artificial ingredients are found in the packed or processed food. Only way to make yourself healthy is to avoid eating processed food and consume more of freshly prepared food. Even though fresh food are not completely healthy, they are much better than eating artificially processed food.

In these government is banning many medicines, it is also good if government also banned used of chemicals for riping fruits and vegetables.  

The Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 ( Rules 2011 ) totally bans the practice of artificially ripening fruits in India. As you know, vested interests and rich unscrupulous business people are using Calcium Carbide to ripen the fruits rampantly Calcium Carbide. It all amounts to lack of strict implementation of the Act.

I agree, if we decided to follow through with these ingredients, we would simply have to stop eating as each and every food stuff you buy contains one or more of these things. The key is in moderation and to eat more natural and freshly cooked food as much as you can and limit eating readymade foods to as minimum as possible.

there are many foods which we should avoid in order to be healthy and yes there are also foods which will seems to be healthy and yet they are too dangerous for our health. so now a day it is very difficult to distinguish which food is safe and which are not.
