So, it's clear. If Apple's target buyers are a few select buyers, the ball lies in the buyers' court. What all the buyers are to do is to check if they fall in that 'Select few' or not.

 

 

Well, They going to launch it later on in India. I think that gold watch will not get any buyers, but you never know, those low price apple watch will get more sale.

Our expectations and predictions vary from those of manufacturer's. They study the market before launching their product. Whereas ,we don't have any basis.it holds good for their gold watch too.

Do you know India has doubled Billionaires on Forbes  list in last couple of years. People In India have lots of monies for spending on such items. I can tell you India will be the #1 buyer of these watches in the world. Just wait and WATCH see these watches selling like apples in the market.

It is for this reason, manufacturers help these people who do not know what to do with their truckloads of money, by introducing such luxury gadgets.

I have the same answer, people travel by Tata Nano and people travel by Ferrari. It all depends which category of society you belong to. Exceptions are always there besides these watches are not for checking time only but they keep a constant vigil on wearers' health online.

These are the days of Free apps. They cover a range from waking you up in the morning to guide you through performing exercises. But even these apps are not necessary for a person like me. Because these daily routines were being practiced eversince I remember . Yes , I agree with you, that the buyer should know the real necessity of such gadgets.

That's true.. Its more about status than using its features .  lol.

@Suni.. India may have more buyers. But I guess here people more fan of android gadget than IOS, that's what survey says.

Necessities are driven back to the back seat. Luxury, more than luxury "Show" is ruling the roost.

Yes these days many people buy such costly gadget just for showing up. Even they are not known with their features they just go for it.

So, it means customers are the real culprits. They are responsible for creating "Artificial" demand. By nature, man has that inherent Herd mentality. If one goes in one direction, others follow the suit without bothering to know the reason, why the man has deviated from the set path.

This is what happening in all most all the sphers of life. And mobile phone is not an exception.
