Railway is a huge network. We cannot expect immediate results. Private buses maximum contain 45 to 50 seats so maintaining them is not a mere task. If every division work for the people and people follow the rules and regulations every train journey will become a nice one. Some TTR are sitting in AC classes and did not visit the general reservation compartment. If they visit regularly then railway will earn a huge income. Most people who took unreserved ticket are travelling in reserved coaches. If the reserved person came they leave the place and find some other seat otherwise they travel in the same seat during their whole journey. Train journey is most suitable for women who carry child with them.
The reasons for declination of Railways is heavy corruption in the Railways itself. Improving Railways is a Herculean task in the present circumstances

I think it is more difficult to travel with a small child in trains, since the space for two is not enough. On the other hand buses -sleeper buses are more spacious. I think if nothing else trains should be made more spacious.

Because of the inadequacies in In the Indian Railways, the state owned and private buses are doing roaring business in the states of AP and Tamilnadu. The Railways should take a leaf out of them and provide the same facilities to the people. Only then Railways can be put on the right track.
