How do you respond if somebody criticizes you? do you smile and avoid the situation or do you shout back? do you examine the criticizer to see whether at least a part of what he has said about you may be true or do you try to prove him as a madman in front of others?

How do you respond if somebody criticizes you? do you smile and avoid the situation or do you shout back? do you examine the criticizer to see whether at least a part of what he has said about you may be true or do you try to prove him as a madman in front of others?I will listen to what he speaks of, and would remain silent as I cannot control the other person, it is his mind and mouth to speak whatever, and that will not affect me. For me silent is the best to counter critics.
