why women in India are still backward??

At the time of marriage, girls parents should scrutinise the groom and his family. If they are doubtful then they should not perform their daughter's marriage in that family.

:huh: :huh: Guyzz...........as you all know that :huh: inspite of soo much of development in India has been done in every sectors suchs as economical, political, environmental, etc........but when it comes to the social sector of India, always there is the same problem i.e., backwardness of women. still, after so much of developmental growth of India, the mindset of most of the people are still the same.....can you please suggest some solutions to get rid of this social error in India????? :huh: :dry:

The first question which comes in my mind is - "How they got married?". If she has married according to her own will then she is responsible for what happens to her next. If others have insisted or forced her, she must have taken action against them. It is better not to marry rather than to marry and divorce a beast. In todays world, divorcees are not respected in the society. The reason is again the mentality of men and women surviving in the society. This is a disease.

There are many woman living in India whom man cannot compete and supersede them. Such woman can give tough competition to man to make them feel embarrassed. This is the indication of progress and development of women in India. Actually because of them many people feel unsecured due to women working with them. Today men have become backward and not the women.

You cannot blame all the problem of women on men alone. Women equally share responsibility to their problems. Women are more influential in social changes that men.

When you take the responsibility in you hands to solve your problems, instead of blaming others, you'll always find a solution. Where there is a will there is a way. :)

Thta's nice to hear ! The mindset has to be changed in rural areas first for the women to realise their worth and come forward. The change is there but very slow and obly after eforts taken like in Medak....In Karnataka too we have some model villages where Sudha Murthy and Infosys have done a commendable job of empowering the people especially women..
