That's right.Until one does not get in the shoes of a personality, he will never understand the meaning. To know how a father feels at certain stages in life - especially the bad ones, one has to become a father first.

Parents in general and followed by teachers should play a major role in unearthing the dormant traits in a child. Because most of the good or bad habits form in the formative years of a child. After parents this responsibility should be taken by the Teachers.

A child shows the fields that he may excel when he grows up. But parents usually wish to shape the child in a particular way instead of allowing him to grow as he would naturally. A child should be encouraged to develop the talents he is most suitable for.

Home is the first learning centre and the parents are the first teachers for the child. In this scenario parents alone can identify and unearth the inner traits of the child. If the parents fail in their duties and let this opportunity of moulding the child slip away, parents are the biggest losers.

As a matter of fact, children develop likes and dislikes and ambitions when they are in teens. But parents try to thrust their own ambition on children. Many expect from children what they could not achieve. If parents just allow children to go by their own traits, ambitions, this would be suffice.

But the seeds of their likings and dilikings are sown quite earlier than teenage. And also, those likings and dilikings will not be in consistency. Owing to this reason many parents fail to notice these occasional sparks. And for the same reason, parents mostly dismiss the children's likings and dislikings as childish.
Very few utilized these occasional sparks shown by the children and thus the ' child prodigies' surfaced up. With all said and done parents should keep a constant watch on ther children spark or no spark.

I agree. The latent talents are visible even in early age. But the issue is that parents want to shape the child's future according to own fancy and whim. A child should be allowed to develop naturally and parents should not thrust their own ambitions on child. Many parents will like the son to be doctor or engineer in utter disregard of child's potential.

Agreed. The most unfortunate aspect is, most of the parents thrust their ambitions on their children, never caring for the aspirations and ambitions of their children.
