There is one such college here in India in Orissa where no student has ever passed out so far, of course there are reasons ... A distinction indeed !

Really a very shocking news. Cant imagine a college without any pass outs for the past five years. College running with no faculties for several subjects is quite unbelievable.

It really is shocking and pathetic ! But this can be seen in many places, have seen government schools being managed with just a shed and a ground where the children sit under trees....

I have seen them several of those but haven't heard of a college like this before.
This is far better. There are colleges on paper, but no real colleges are existing, swallowing the grants.
Not only they are running, parents are enrolling their children for the grants from the government for sending children to the school,
When every single thing we see in life is misused, we could see all such wonders.
Government insufficiency is not the only cause for rampant corruption. People are also culprits.
Yes, schools with not a single passed candidate.
Much more shocking than before. How can they run a school like that?

Honestly one can get away with just about anything and everything in India, the country is run like a fish market with no rules or regulations - of course we have all that only on papaer...

Colleges and schools are supposed to fulfill conditions like playgrounds, student teacher ratio etc. After palm greasing and exchange of wads of money, the license issuing authorities clear the things. The unholy nexus is all prevailing. Result? A No college, but a college.

A dubious distinction indeed! But I just cannot understand the logic behind recognition of such colleges where there are no basic facilities and resources even to teach students??? It is so shameful that these college authorities and the government officials are allowed to play with the future of these students! Really shameful!
Really happy to read that there are institutions which give importance to studies
I am sure you have not read the post properly neither the link given in the post. How can an institution be called as giving importance to studies when not a SINGLE student has passed exams in the last five years??? Could you please care to elaborate your comment?
