Bangalore is a great city with regard to social life since it is cosmopolitan and one can find people from all over the country living there in harmony...However, the infra structure is far from good, in fact with the metro work going on all over the city it is a nightmare...

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

Bangalore is still better than most big cities of India despite the population growth going at big rate. The biggest of the problems the city has is its water scarcity otherwise the place would have spread more to suburban areas. But being rocky drilling/boring is not easy so no bore wells work. Still the place is not as bad that's what I can say after staying there for so long time.
However you cannot compare it with Old Bangalore that was heaven.

Perhaps you have not experienced the traffic jams. When i was there last month, i have taken an oath not to visit Bangalore again

Yes Rambabu, traffic jams are a problem in Bangalore, but I think it only in the peak hours, and Bangalore is still very good compared to many other places in India.

I lived in Bangalore for almost 8 years. Three years a few decades back and 5 years up to April last year, not constantly though but as my second home. This is still better than Delhi and surrounding areas as far traffic conditions concerned. Then that is a problem every where but I love it for its culture and work ethics all the same.
