    Yes was not covered much by the media. He died of liver failure.


    I just heard in news once that he was ill but never heard that his condition was so severe. :blink:

    In fact he has been been very sick and in the hospital for more than 2 weeks.Apparently he was on dialysis and became worse instead of improving ...There were of course many controversies and corruption charges on him...

    Yes that was because he took his son and producer Ramgopal Verma to Hotel Tajmahal , when it was under security after the blasts ,the reason being that Ramgopal Verma wanted to make a film on the subject and wanted to take some pictures to use it later..

    Yesterday in news I heard that he passes away.Sonia Gandhi ,Man mohan SIngh and many Bollywood person gathered in his funeral.

    But he was not so sick or old, this is so sad. He was only 67.


    His liver had failed and need transplantation. It happens that a person looks okay outwardly but his vital organs are deteriorating. His demise is indeed a sad news.
