What is your typing speed?

My typing speed is 150words per minute. I can type without seeing keyboard. Even in the darkness also i can type

How long can you type at this speed, this is really such a wonderful speed that you can go for record books on the basis of duration you can maintain.

Ya, definitely this is an amazing speed. If you type with this speed with a good accuracy rate then you are really a genius.

As you are aware that tests are done on certain duration basis, accuracy is one of the features because they do not count wrongly spelled words in full..

Sandhya ji it is just lot of practice. I used to chat in yahoo with my friends and even in gmail. then after comming to boddunan i used to type alot of articles. So in this practice my typing speed raised.

so, even if no power, you can work on articles since you need no light ;)

Thirty words is not a bad speed provided one can type constantly.

I think it is per minute, am I right jabeen ? I have heard of people typing upto 190 words per minute...

Uou missed it Jabeen this is WPM that means word per minute, duration of test is written first. That means the one who typrd for 1 hr could do 149 words /minute while someone typing for 1 minute only did 216 minutes. Like long distance and short distance races.

I can type at least 50 words per minute.I know that I take much time to type words.

In 10th Standard, i chose typing as a Subject, as at that time, it was available to chose. So, from that 10th standard, I am good in typing. I scored good marks in 10th Standard in typing.

I don't know exactly, what could be the speed of typing of mine, but i have a good command of typing any word.
