If there is increase in petrol then products will increase.In this world nothing will decrease instead it will increase.
Rates of other commodities depend more on if diesel prices are hiked. Diesel is used for transportation, captive power and agriculture. Petrol is used for cars mostly.

Actually Iran has stopped oil export to other countries because they want changes in their economy. I think this will effect prices in Indian market also.
