I personally like poems written by ONV Kurup......he won Jnanapeetham Award 2 years ago. Also, I am a great admirer of his film songs. My most favourite Malayalam songs are written by him.
Madhavikutty.....later changed her name to Surraiyya has brought great reforms in Malayalam literature, poems, short stories and novels. She got appreciation world wide for some English books. She is the queen of romance......but now, no more :( :( :(
G.Shankara Kurup is the first person who got Jnaapeetham Award for Malayalam, for his poems titled "OdaKuzhal"(flute)
