Can there be counter revolution in China? Yechuri says that this is likely. In sixties, China has alleged counter revolutionary threat in Soviet Union. Is that true now about china itself. That time, China had waged a war against 'revisionism' and 'restoration of capitalism'. Now who will do that?

Soviet union has been fragmented and we can never hope to see it as it was before. It may be because of the failure of communism or a calculated strategy by the west to weaken the USSR which has been successful. However, I dont think that such a thing would happen here..China has been communist country for many years now and they have entered into the new economic growth stage knowing fully well that they have the capacity to become world leaders and more than anything China has a very patriotic population which would look after the interest of the nation before anything else...I am sure the west would try their strategy here as well..

The issue is about change in system in China. There was an ideological verbal war between Soviet Union and China in sixties and seventies. China described soviet Union leaders as'revisionist' . It is alleged that 'capitalism' was introduced and 'socialism' ended. Chins still describes itself as 'socialist' and 'communist state' even though practically the system is capitalist. Is there a possibility that multi party democratic system as in India emerges in China and monopoly of communist Party of china end.
