Ram, i dont know about the jewellery strike. Can you please explain in brief. :)
In this budget, unbranded jewellery has been subjected to central excise duty whereas formerly only branded jewellery was taxed. They have been given assurance that their grievances will be considered favorably while finalizing budget. Hence they called off their strike.
