Does belief in God influence one's character?

Terrorists are taught to forget everything,even their God and just to remember one thing,that we have to spread terror in the world.That's it !

The religion based terrorists believe in 'Jehad', cusade or Dharma Yudha. all these are religious concepts. Terror is in name of religion.

No religion encourage terrorism.Those who turned away from religious path takes that way.

But do the terrorists say that they do not believe in religion or they are turned away from religion. As long as they assert that they are followers of religion and are working for religion, we cannot say that religion positives influences human character. Only one side version does not work.

Yes,there is nothing to do with religion. Terrorists are taught to become blind faith on their leaders. That is how they follow the commanders Commands.

Religion does matters but the God which we choose and serve will influence us

please try to edit, it is not namagh it is namaaz. It is a religion thing and so sensitive. So you need edit it.

You are Punjabi. A Punjabi may be Muslim also. The Punjabi in Punjab province of Pakistan are Muslim. They are naturally influenced by Allah.

Please do not confuse language/ province with religion. A Punjabi may be Hindu, Muslim, Sikh or Christian.

In what way does the belief in God raise character. The criminal cases are generally against believers. The jails are occupied by believers. The food adulterers are believers. The bandits/ robbers are believers.

Believers have a notion that all their deeds are absorbed by God and so they are sinless. Thus religion or faith in God negatives affects character.

God has not told us what is good or bad. Only society or law tells us. Then why God (if he exists) would care about what you do.

We have made the rules about what is good or bad for properly running social system and family affairs. God nowhere comes in picture.

There is no quarrel about belief or disbelief in God. The issue is how does this affect character. There is no indication that believers have any better character. All the law, rules, social norms, morality rules are man made. So God has nothing to do with character which is nothing but compliance with rules and norms that are made by man only for better social and administrative management.

In fact, natural rules or God's rules are inhuman. Survival of the fittest, greed, lust and anger are God made or natural. Civilization or humanism consists of regulating and curbing the rules of nature (God, if you like).

The non vegetarian are very thankful to God for providing with meaty goats, sheep and poultry products like hen and eggs. Every one thanks and believes in God for his own reasons. The believers are most tyrants. Kindness and tyranny have nothing to do with God. similarly with corruption. A friend of mine once told that God gave him very good opportunity to earn a few lacks extra and so he could get a house of his own.

Just make a list of believers in God in your area and check their character. It is no use making unverified and untrue claims about Believers' good character.
