    In my opinion this is the time waste money waste. They are spending every time more money to keep elections when it is utilised to people our country also will become in the list of developed countries.

    We are electing persons with our money to earn more money from us.

    We need a system to manage law and order, common facilities of road, money system, economy, justice, law and order, defending the nation. There has to be a system to manage internal law and order, justice, economy, national defence etc.

    Hence we need a government- this may be a dictatorship, monarchy, democracy. We have opted for democracy that needs elections to choose the administrators. Unless we opt out of democracy and facilitate dictatorship of some kind, elections are necessary. Politicians will be necessary in every system- even in dictorship.

    This is a complex issue, you may be right here as far as your question is concerned. We need politicians as they understand diplomacy. But this is not so in case of our country. Calling most of them politicians is insult of this word.

    Voting system is okay. Only those who seek election can be elected. The 'good and honest' avoid politics, political parties and elections. hence, the wicked, dishonest and cheat have their own way.

    As gulshan ji explained we need a government to have a good country. But we need a change in our election system. We need to amend somany rules to get good politicians.

    No, this is not democracy, every one with eligibility to fight election is allowed to do so, But there should be some specific rules regarding their qualification and eligibility. They should be educated and should qualify to be our leaders.
