A woman is an individual. Half part or 'ardhangani' are not legal terms. she has a relation with her husband. The personal law of community- Hindu law, Nuslim Law, Christian law or special marriage act govern her relation with her husband. The husband has duty to provide shelter and maintenance to his wife. If husband fails for any reason, court may direct him to give her maintenance. The husband and wife also have conjugal rights that court may order to restore. Thus wife has only (1) right to maintenance and shelter (2) Conjugal right

This depends on the ownership deed. Not every properties are owned by husband or he is able to transfer them. In that case no.

I love this free image hosting site for sharing my work

can wife add or apply name for property ownership of her hubby house , where hubby is only sole owner of her house ,

& what is process to apply joint ownership of house if hubby denies her right

Wife has full right on husband's property and wealth unless and untill he clearly denies it in his will. Not only wife but also children and parents can go to the court.

The right to inherit husband's property arises on death only. Here the question is as to whether the wife can add her name ore apply for ownership. The answer is clear NO. During life time, the husband has full right to property acquired by him. The wife has only maintenance, residence and conjugal rights.

Presently, a woman is entitled to maintenance on divorce. Law is proposed to be amended to allow women a share in property in event of divorce. However, the quantum will depend on court. Also divorce may be allowed in event of irretrievable breakdown of marital relation.

Giving women a share in property is okay. But this is not an effective way to bring women at par. The women must seek self sufficiency and attain independent economic status. The current law and society considers women as dependent on man. Self dependency and not share in husband's property is key to women empowerment and equality.

Presently, she has not. But she has right to maintenance, residence and conjugal relation. There is proposal to allow women also right in property. But share will be decided by court. This will be in event of divorce. However, i feel that all this exercise presupposes that man is dominant and woman depends on him. women need to be economically self sufficient and independent rather than seek share in husband's property. Economic self dependence and not share in property is key to women empowerment.
