Is it good to be too good?

We have a saying in Malayalam, 'Veenidam Vishnulokam' means 'Even if you fall, you will say, it is Vishnu lokam!'

Being too good is never good for a person. So for a person , just good is best.

I think been good is right but too good is not appropriate. Because todays world will not understand the goodness and honesty of other person.

It is really a nice answer. But, sometimes we can be good with bad people :evil: :evil: also. It depends upon situation.

Being good will never let you fall however i creates some troubles life path but as all know you will be winner at last because goodness always wins.

Every thing is changing in this world, I think being good is enough than being too good. This has some disadvantages, people take undue advantage of such people.

Ya I agree with Sassi , Now the time people use to take benefits from others goodness .

any thing qualified the word 'too' is undesirable. 'Too' means 'so much as is not acceptable'. Hence, being 'too good' is also bad.

I think that's what the price one pays for being too good. His goodness is taken for pretension. That's why I said this is good to be good, not too good.

exactly, people think too good people for too ...... and take them for granted. Therefore this is good to be good in this age of clever people all around.

If we are too good then people will take the advantage of our goodness and finally they use us.

This is not bad to be good but beware of people who try to take disadvantage of your good nature. I was the same too good, but now I am very careful while it comes to deal with pretenders.

Just be good so that other behaves you in the same manner as you no need to be too good.

i am trying to figure out,what you people mean by too good.does it mean dumb......being good doesn't mean that you should bear injustice.....there are two types of good's,one kind of people are good by their choice and other are coz they have no other choice.......i don't understand why you people promoting evil...it's not like i am a very good person or bad,am just a person i do things that are good and bad.

Bad is no where in the picture nor any one highlighting any thing like evil, but people who sound too good are taken disadvantage for their good nature most of the time. So a word of caution, forewarned is forearmed, you know.
