We cherish the memory of time spent at Agra by Netaji Bose. Today is his birthday. His famous words- Give me blood. I'll give you freedom- are a constant reminder that there is never any gain without sacrifice.

Its really a good news, that government finally gives 'Deshpremi Divas' a day to netaji.. i love the way he fought for our nation.
It is shocking that there is controversy even on a national event like Netaji birth day celebration.

Mamata Banerjee raised controversy on celebration by opposition, who rightly refuted her.

It's true that there should not have been any such controversy but Netaji is a tragic hero and controversy never failed to chase him!
Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose is my favourite freedom fighter. He is Indian Hero who taught us to fight for our right, pride and freedom. He is alive in our heart. Jai Hind!
He was a true revolutionary in every sense of the term. He practiced secularism - not to preach it. The Indian National Army he formed was a perfect example - an extraordinary success in bringing all Indians under this umbrella. In his scheme of things - both men and women held equal importance. The idea of forming a planning commission and concept of 5-year plans all came from him as President of Congress - however some congress leaders made his life miserable and he had to quit the party. Unfortunately Mhatma Gandhi too was misled by a section of Congress leadership against him!
Thanks for sharing this links To us every child remember the birthday of a NetaJi's birthday.

Similar was the case with Veer Savarkar! Congress has been the master of misinformation and corruption even before the freedom!

May be Subhas Chandra Bose had a strategy different from that of Gandhi and congress. Gandhi and Congress sided with British during second world war whereas Bose fought against the allied powers. Bose would not have formed INA to fight against British and allied powers by remaining in congress.
Due to long time gap from boddunan near about one week I missed this forum but truly said I am also a big fan of him due to his sacrificing nature for country.
Here are the link where you can get a real speech of Netaji Subhas chandra Bose.

Sandhya is it Boss or Bose?
Bose.
But he was a real boss for sure.
As you are from Bengal, may i ask you one question.
Do you know any close relatives of him/his family?
Netaji is a real super hero we all must celebrate his birthday.

I love Netaji and Bhagat singh.
Subhash Chandra Bose was born in a Bengali family on January 23, 1897 in Cuttack, Orissa.
Netaji Subash Chandra Bose led the Indian National Army (INA) and struggled for the independence of India from colonial rule.

He was a great leader.
Yes he is a great leader even Britishers frightened of him.
Yes he is a great leader even Britishers frightened of him.

I think, "Even British were afraid of him" is more correct
Yes Sandhya due to lot of English problem some errors are occurring so please highlight them.
Sasi,
Try to write 3 or 4 sentences in forum discussion. It will really improve your skills very much. We can correct our own mistakes also.
