It is shocking that there is controversy even on a national event like Netaji birth day celebration.

Mamata Banerjee raised controversy on celebration by opposition, who rightly refuted her.

People of Agra celebrated Netaji birthday celebration enthusiastically.

It's true that there should not have been any such controversy but Netaji is a tragic hero and controversy never failed to chase him!

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose is my favourite freedom fighter. He is Indian Hero who taught us to fight for our right, pride and freedom. He is alive in our heart. Jai Hind!
Can you tell some nice thoughts about Netaji?

He was a true revolutionary in every sense of the term. He practiced secularism - not to preach it. The Indian National Army he formed was a perfect example - an extraordinary success in bringing all Indians under this umbrella. In his scheme of things - both men and women held equal importance. The idea of forming a planning commission and concept of 5-year plans all came from him as President of Congress - however some congress leaders made his life miserable and he had to quit the party. Unfortunately Mhatma Gandhi too was misled by a section of Congress leadership against him!
Thanks for sharing this links To us every child remember the birthday of a NetaJi's birthday.

Similar was the case with Veer Savarkar! Congress has been the master of misinformation and corruption even before the freedom!

May be Subhas Chandra Bose had a strategy different from that of Gandhi and congress. Gandhi and Congress sided with British during second world war whereas Bose fought against the allied powers. Bose would not have formed INA to fight against British and allied powers by remaining in congress.

Due to long time gap from boddunan near about one week I missed this forum but truly said I am also a big fan of him due to his sacrificing nature for country.
