Who is that famous personality whom you wish to meet at least once in your lifetime, which has not happened yet? Also, pour a few words about him/her and let others know something more about that very special person of your heart. Also tell, what made you a fan of him/her?

I would like to meet lady gaga once again, I met her a few month back while she was in my neighboring town, still I would like to meet her once in a live show some where in UK.

Never mind I have some other friends in Kerala, especially in Trivendrum and Kochchi. They are always willing to invite me to their places.

Never mind I have some other friends in Kerala, especially in Trivendrum and Kochchi. They are always willing to invite me to their places.

Trivandrum has changed to Thiruvananthapuram 20 years before, I think in 1990 or 91. But even now, most people prefer to say Trivandrum, Trichur, Calicut and Cochin. i don't know why :whistle:
Can anyone tell me?

Sarala,
As Bangalore changed to Bangaluru, Mumbai, Kolkatta, Pudicherry.....these districts were renamed years before, according to regional language.
Do you know why Thiruvananthapuram is called so??? It is due to Padmanabhaswamy temple and diety of Lord Vishnu is in 'Anantha sayanam'..in Palazhy. So....Thiru....Anantha...puri....later known as Thiruvananthapuram

Ooru....in Tamil means place. Isn't it Kannan? I think, it has same meaning in Karanataka also, so they changed to local name.....Bangl'ooru'.
But I don't know what this 'bang' is. Is there anyone from Karanataka?

Don't you assume the people calling these name could belong to that era. Besides I still like Bombay, Delhi and Bangalore more than their new names. And did you mention illiterate, I am proud to have cleared my class 4 exams with 37% marks. :lol:
