Close look towards thane cyclone.

Ya it was puducherry and cuddalore which was affected to the maximum. Some houses are completely destroyed. There was no power and water supply for 4 days. Its really terrible.

yes, puducherry and cuddalore which affected more by this cyclone. i don't think how they are going to get normal as the cyclone has destroyed most of the houses and places. its very sad... :(

Puducherry has recovered from such a bad situation in very short period. Its almost to the normal. But Cuddalore people is still suffering.

Wow they have full confidence and they recovered well when compared with cuddalore people.

Puducherry is a union territory. It has its own funds and enormous number of workers.Thats probably the reason.

iam from pondicherry,now the situation is normal.minister p.chidambram came and visited the affected places and they estimated that the total destruction is 2000 crores in pondicherry.
really farmers are affected more because of thane.all their fields are totally washed out.hope many of the farmers will not be celebrating pongal festival this year,they used to harvest their crops in this january month.but its a total loss.
people who lived in huts also suffering a lot,because the cyclone took off their houses.
but the puducherry government is taking immediate steps to recover totally.but all the big trees fallen down in roads,over transformers.people living in pondicherry and cuddalore learn to live without power in these days.in cuddalore still power has not yet came in many places.

This is so sad.It created a lot of loss to the people and taken some of the lives.

This is indeed a bad news for poducherry people. These un-natural disasters are not in our hands,so can't do much about this.

i think now the situation on pondicherry is getting normal. We need to help each other by doing some field works by local people nd by giving money to affected people by collecting from our friends and relatives. This will help them a lot.

How the condition of the people and how is the situation in the city it is in control or out of control.

Condition of the people is still worse. The people who lost their houses are still suffering. But rest has become normal.Government is providing funds to all people.

Every thing has 2 sides. Same goes for natural calamity also. Bad thing is loss of people but the good thing is people gets united.
