Just an hour back, I was strolling in street. A few children asked me to write my name in their copy. I was told that if they get 100 names Santa Clause would gift them. I told that this is false belief and there is no Santa.

We can't neglect that Santa doesn't exist at all. In the foriegn countries,in Europe, still on this day, one become a Santa and he distribute gifts to all the kids which live near his house.
So, i think Santa Claus still exist.

Some body may act as anything. That does not make this real. You may act as a comic character and say this is true. Then Micky Mouse, Chacha Chaudhry etc. also exist as you may play even these fictitious characters.

Santa Clause exists though not in real form but when we are talking to children we should not directly tell them that santa does not exist because it is through this form of santa that your child will learn joy of recieving and giving gifts.

@ Gulshanji
Sir,there are many things in this world, which does not exist, but still we believe on it.
Lets take the example of DIWALI celebration. We celebrate it because at that time when God were there, RAM came from Vanvas.
Now,Ram is not there, but still we celebrate why so???

The article does not prove anything. This is only a belief that Santa Claus comes from North Pole. You may write anything in an article. There is no concrete evidence of Santa Claus coming from North Pole. If this were true, we would see this in news and our reporters would record interview with the said Santa Claus. Then you would not need to act as Santa Claus, a hypothetical character.

Ronark, such events are celebrated for fun and belief and not facts. So just enjoy the festival and not bother about real facts. Even history is called 'a fable agreed upon'. True or false, the idea of gifts from Santa Claus is good.
