KARMA are not gained by viewing profile. it is gained by if someone likes your profile and likes you posts. then if any click '+' or '-' sign on your profile then then your KARMA will increase or decrease.
if still you have any doubt go to FAQs and get clear abt KARMA.
I think there should be some addition like boddunan allow to give textbox to put reason why karma decreased or increased so members can improve better way.
The problem here is one of invisibility! One never knows who uses it positively or negatively. When I talk of negative exercises I am aware that a minus Karma too can be used positively to constructive purposes!
