They gets frightened and become active to defend,if some one may attack them. I guess.

The only reason which I could think as of now is that animals are much more sensitive to vibrations than we humans...!

The thundering scares us also when suddenly it appears means we also will scare for this.Animals think that some body was sounding like this.

the loud noise of thundering frightened them and they become more cautious .

Thundering makes a very lid sound that is beyond our hearing capacity. Even humans are scared of this. We also put cotton in babies' ears to save from thunder of cloud and crackers' sound.

That's true. Thundering and also some other loud sounds are there which makes animals scared. I think animals know about the effect of thunder and lightening. It is also possible that they think the sky would fall on their head after thundering, etc.

Living creatures will scare for the thundering except plants.
