People can vote only for the candidates contesting the elections. The elections are contested on party basis. major political parties give tickets to candidates who give maximum price for getting ticket to contest elections. Voters have only to choose between these candidates.

The so called honest people (if they exist) can help to remove corruption only if they themselves join major political parties and change system from within. You cannot change the way of politicians unless you yourself participate in politics by joining a political party. Incidentally, team anna do not wish to enter active politics.
