It is no use blaming current conditions. Old age homes are a fact of life. If an aged lives even in his own house all alone, this is like living in old age home.

It is no use cursing the current situation. It is better to improve the old age home conditions.

For India old age home is new concept. In India old age person are always respectable. but now time is changed. children have not time to look after parents properly. In Rajasthan government announce to open one old age home in every district.

Old age homes is a necessity of today's India. We can laugh it out but it is no matter that we can neglect any more. Number of aged people suffering at the hands of their own relatives need immediate attention from all sources, especially when our country has no social security system.

Social security essentially mans economic security. But the aged need more than this. For lone senior citizens, there need be seniors club where the oldies may chat and play together. Like children, oldies may also be comfortable in same age group.
