TAKING seriously the news of serving beef to foreigners during the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, the Delhi unit of Bajrang Dal warned the Government of Delhi against taking any such step. The Bajrang Dal warned if beef was served to any guest during the Games the entire Hindu society would be in the streets and it would not tolerate it at any cost. Delhi state joint convener of the Dal Shri Shailendra Jaiswal told the MCD, Government of Delhi and other agencies to make the their stand clear on the issue.

Union Environment Minister Shri Jairam Ramesh warned the western countries of the consequences of beef eating during Copenhagen climate change summit, on the other hand the Government of Delhi is trying to serve beef to the foreigners in India.

I do not support all things of Bajrang dal but this is correct not to serve Beef in India because we should not forget our culture
Anything that hurts the feelings of Hindus is just ignored by Indian intellectuals, media and politicians.

Any organisation that raises the voice of Hindu beliefs is branded as communal.

Any action taken by the nationalists to stop immoral acts are branded as moral-policing.

The majority of intellectuals, politicians, media persons and outspoken people who speak against the above belong to Hindu families. Nevertheless they try to prove themselves open-minded, broad-minded, secular and all that churn out a larger than life image for them.

They recommend beef for India...
Can anyone dare to serve pork in Arabian countries and Pakistan...
They should not and cannot.

The big people should learn respecting the feelings of majority Indians, Hindus, Muslims, Christians and all other common people... Biggies would not survive on their big chairs without the support of the commoners.

Bajrang Dal is not representative of all Hindus. Food habits can not be enforced on anyone. Beef eating is common in the entire world. Moreover, beef does not mean only cow meat. If cow slaughter is banned in Delhi, there should be no such slaughter for serving food in Common wealth games. But there is nothing wrong in procuring beef particularly packaged branded for the purpose.

all request all indian to be become vegetrain .n cow is our mother(gau mata) how we can serve our mother . shit on face of delhi goverment..
Yes Rohit. It is nice to be vegetarian. Definitely cow is motherly. But we cannot force our views on others i.e. non Hindus. If they agree to us, this will be welcome. As regards serving of beef at Delhi during commonwealth games, all that we can say that the law relating to ban on cow slaughter should be strictly observed, if this is operative in Union Territory of Delhi

yes the law should be strictly considered.Because in india we can't serve a cow beef as a delicacies or even can't see anybody eating .
Do we sometimes argue for the sake of argument...?

By prolonging interaction the purpose of posting a question by the initiator of the thread is defeated.
