yeah and it is right because by stopping small mistakes big accidents can be prevented.police force is performing its job very well but there shouldn't be corrupted people in police who take a bribe from the people.

It's a prohibitive fine and it has be kept a little high but the problem here is that a large part of it is pocketed by the very people who are to enforce laws!

I don`t think so. Fine has to be raised to prevent various grave traffic violations like jumping a red signal, smoking while driving and drunken drive.....

The very purpose is defeated if the fine amount is kept low but what has to be ensured that this money collected by way of fine does not find its way into the pockets of corrupt police officials!

No the fines are low for that also people are edicted and doing the wrong driving.I think fines must be high for wrong driving 5000,rash driving vehicle must be seized

Unless one feels the heat of paying a hefty fine, the temptation would be always there to commit it all over again!

The fines may be higher but the affluent and super rich do not bother. They do not fear fines and violate not only traffic regulation but every law. Fines are nothing to them. They rather need corporal punishment like that in Singapore.

No, traffic fines are not so higher. Higher fines must be important to rash and drunken drivers.
