The fair price shops are opened primarily for poor or low income consumers. These definitely help them.
Because of the less price in the fair price shop,it is affordable to the poor and needy people.

It's the need of the hour that this network of fair shops are strengthened and made corruption-free. In these days of steep rise in prices of foodstuff, these shops can cater to the needs of our poor people.
yes at some extent it will help the poor but it was not the final solution.
Though rates are low but the quality is not good. But still poor have to buy that products because they have on alternatives.

Most of these fair-price shop owners are corrupt and they sell all these foodstuff in the black market to deprive the needy and the government should be ruthless in tackling this!

In our poverty alleviation programmes these fair price shops have been given very prominent roles and the food security that the gaovernment is thinking about these shops would have similar important roles!
