Why we celebrate independence day on Aug 15 while Pak on 14th.

Although, both got independence on the same day and same time, why India celebrates on Aug 15 while Pakistan on Aug 14.

First India was divided and then granted independence. Hence, Pakistan got independence a day ahead of India.

because india got freedom first then it is divided in to two parts and pakistan come in life. so pakistan's freedom is after the indian freedom

It is due to the division of India and Pakistan before granting of Independence to both. Hence neighbour celebrate it much advance than ours.
