If everyday the student commit same mistake then punishment is needed as mistakes happens often.

students should be punished after 2-3 warnings .because if he or she don't understand the warning it means they are getting late knowingly or in order to avoid the rules.

Once the teacher should tell him that this is his/her last warning. If he come late from tomorrow he /she would be punished.

firstly they should warn them as normal and if they still get late they should be punished by one or two slap
