It appeasrs that the very purpose of joint drafting committee on Jan Lok Pal Bill is being defeated by indulging in accusations and counter accusations. Now, the so called 'civil society' members that obviously consist of certain NGOs are accusing the Government, ruling party and even corporates with attempt to discredit them.
although the very validity of the Bill drafting committee consisting of NGOs is in doubt, the bill could be ratified by parliament and validated. But if these members continue this sort of game, the avowed purpose of the Hazare group will be defeated very badly.

Swami Agniveash is middlemen of all extra constitutional and ant parliamentary entities including Maoists and Ghandians. Now, when the integrity of so called 'civil society members' is under probe, the above named Swamy wants to restrict freedom of expression of genuine public personalities like Congress General Secreatay Digvijay singh. Meanwhile, the 'civil society members' face more accusations.

Once the committee for drafting has been constituted, accusations and counter accusations should no hamper the functioning. The accusations pertain to individual cases and these are not relevant to the Lok Pal committee. Pranab Mukherjee has rightly affirmed that committee will function and do its job.

The way Kiran Bedi, an ex IPS, a prominent member of team Hazare wants people to ensure that allegations should not and honest should win.

This is indeed amusing. Does she wish to claim that only team Hazare group is honest and the allegations against them are untrue even without investigation. Does she not understand the how funny her claim is that integrity and honesty are monopoly of Team Hazare and only others are dishonest.

We may appreciate efforts of so called civil society against corruption even though they have nothing to their credit except blacmailing for getting their nominees on Lok Pal Bill drafting committee unconstitutionally. However, some of the Hazare team members continue to make amusning statements. First Kiran Bedi. Now Swami agnivesh. He says that Bhushan is strongest link against corruption. Bhushan is an accused in corruption case. How he can be strongest link. Is it not funny to say that team Hazare is honest and others are corrupt against whom holy crusade is necessary.

Although constitutional validity of Lok Pal Panel is doubtful, Mayavati wants sceduled caste representation in the committee. Hegde isnot averse to Schedule Caste miniater. What is not understandable is why the sheduled caste can not be a 'civil society rep'. Does team Hazare not include reserved category citizens.

The Lok Pal Draft committee is for drafting the bill. Congress has rightly distanced itself from Bhushans' resignation. Congress is concenrned only with government nominee and the job of drafting. As regards conduct, character and integrity of Bhushans, let Team Hazare ponder over the proverb that those living in glass houses should not throw stoneson others.

The Government accepted independence of Lok Pal. But still there is doubt about bringing P.M. and judiciary in the purviewof Plok Pal.

However, when the UPA is not allowing independent functioning of parliamentary committee like PAC, it appears that all exercise on Lok Pal is fake. This is just to sidetrack the fight against corruption in various scams like 2G, CWG etc.

Even if the committee drafts the bill, this will need discussion and voting in parliament involving ruling party and opposition only. The Hazare team is unrepresented in parliament. This is the real issue. Hazare team has no real authority to draft a bill and hence the entire exercise may be flop.

There is agreement to bring government employees in Lok pal preview. But there is no agreement on politicians, juduciary and others. The government employees are most vulnerable and may do anything to them. But the politicians are masters and employees have to cooperate with them for anything.
