The government is Pro Rich. The industrialists and big business give money to political parties for elections and also bribe the bureaucracy for various purposes. Hence, all government policies favor the rich. poor are only given empty promises.

But the sad part is the poor is their vote bank!
There is not an iota of doubt about inflation hitting the most vulnerable section of our populace - the poor. The affluent people always manage to pass on the inflationary to the people down the order!
Inflation favors the Government and the Investor class. ... OPEC controls the oil prices , not the rich Americans. ...

Government income or funds are for people in general and so not considered as a seperate class. The investors are very tiny percentage and these are either big industrialists or even small emplyees.

The industrialists and rich business men make more money as prices of their products rise. Also, they spend only small portion of income on essential items. So they are not affected. The poor salaried class and wage earners and others who make small income daily by sheer labor are most disadvantageous. They spend most of their income on bare necessaries. Their condition is pathetic.

inflation acts as a regressive consumption tax, which favors rich and productive agents.
